The Board of Church and Society of the Detroit Annual Conference seeks to educate, advocate, and implement networks for action toward social justice. Through our website, we encourage United Methodist church members in our conference to respond to critical social issues such as:

- Welcome the Sojourner, October 16 - 18, 2008
- Co-sponsored by the North Central Jurisdiction and the General Board of Church and Society "Welcoming the Sojourner" will respond to the Immigration debate from a Biblical faith perspective. More information is available on the Events page
